![]() Admins are abusive, rules are nonsensical, and there are tons of little kids who make gameplay rather nerve racking, and usually results in me questioning why I purchased it. ![]() Those servers are usually very laggy, and are run by idiots. If you don’t have someone dumb enough to do that, then you are at the mercy of someone who is renting a server. Getting someone who is stupid enough, and willing enough to open up a port on their network and completely expose themselves to the dangers of the online world (Opening a minecraft server on your home network makes it extremely easy for someone to breach your modem and steal very valuable things such as bank information) is very hard to do. Personally I would hate a minecraft multi-player system. The multiplayer seems to be set up with the expectation that each player will build thier own city, and be neighbors. But we've found that we have to build everything in duplicate. We were hoping to be able to make one large city together. Unfortunately with all the talk on this reddit about the dev's essentially being done with this game, it saddens me to think that a 'top down minecraft with minions multiplayer experience' isn't going to happen here. My husband and I are playing together on the unstable branch. He plays a variety of games such as From the Depths, Stonehearth. Tons of rendering, computers would probably implode. This game, SCREAMS persistent co-op civ builder and I suspect if it was at all possible, dedicated servers would make this game. We are a public and community-driven server dedicated to our love of the country of.Fixed error popups when clients send invalid data to the server. I don’t see that happening in StoneHearth for a number of reasons. My husband and I are playing together on the unstable branch. Fixed mods synced when joining a multiplayer game remaining auto-enabled afterwards. If you have a computer/server that can run stonehearth with the graphics and you configure it like I mention here: Multiplayer without Steam You’ll be able to connect/disconnect to it. ( > 100 players online at the same time? ) Headless mode is not something we’re currently prioritizing, but it may be possible to run a server given some configuration on your end.
